MOTA – Museum On Tour Austria, developed as a hybrid between museum and art work, is showing “МИР – МИРУ – FRIEDE”: a performance series at the city public spaces by the art label XXXXi̶s̶m̶ ^TMC. Focusing on the ongoing International crises, shifts in religious and political power as well as arme confrontations, the collective has set themselves the goal of sending out a message of peace to the world. The messages are written on T-shirts worn by soldiers and can only be seen with a night-vision device. Experience it – how the moving immaterial art space appears!

“МИР – МИРУ – FRIEDE” Performance Description

 

Ten men and women properly dressed in Austrian military uniforms each wear an artwork in the form of a black T-shirt on their bodies and stand in line like a guard of honour. Their job is to send an artistic message of peace out into a world torn by crises and wars. The T–shirts are artistic artefacts and are coated with a special black military-infrared colour. When you use a night-vision telescope you become part of the installation and artist statements can clearly be read off in white writing on the black T-shirts. This performative artwork, made of people, is to be seen in five public spaces in Vienna and confronts its audience (passers-by, tourists, art-fans) unexpectedly in the middle of the city. A new, non-material artspace is formed. The messages of peace leave the rigid form of an exhibition area and take up positions right at the cutting edge – they pulse on the human bodies of the performers – the body as a blackboard, projection screen and placard, all at once.

The performance “МИР – МИРУ – FRIEDE” is a continuance of the PARKFAIR TERMINARTOR exhibition, which took place in 2014 in the hall of honour of the Outer Burgtor on Heldenplatz, and is shown as part of MOTA MUSEUM.

Performance-Reihe im Rahmen von WIR SIND WIEN im Juni 2016

Als Hybrid zwischen Museum und Kunstwerk konzipiert, zeigt MOTA – Museum On Tour Austria “МИР – МИРУ – FRIEDE”: eine Performance Reihe des Art Label XXXXi̶s̶m̶ TOSHAIN/ MAKOWSKY/ CEEH an öffentlichen Plätzen der Stadt.

Angesichts der aktuellen weltpolitischen Situation, hat sich das Kollektiv als Ziel gesetzt, eine Friedensbotschaft an die durch Kriege und Krisen erschütterte Welt zu senden. Die Botschaften sind auf den T-Shirts am Körper der Soldaten dargestellt und können nur durch ein Infrarot-Teleskop erkannt werden. Erleben Sie, wie ein beweglicher immaterieller Kunstraum entsteht!

“МИР – МИРУ – FRIEDE” Performance-Beschreibung

Zehn Männer und Frauen, mit der österreichischen Militär–Uniform adjustiert, tragen je ein Kunstwerk in Form eines schwarzen T-Shirts am Körper und stehen im Spalier. Ihr Auftrag ist es, eine künstlerische Friedensbotschaft in die von Krisen und Kriegen erschütterte Welt zu senden. Die T–Shirts sind künstlerische Artefakte und sind mit einer speziellen schwarzen Militär-Infrarot Farbe beschichtet. Wenn man ein Nachtsicht-Teleskop einsetzt, wird man Teil der Installation. Es lassen sich deutlich auf den schwarzen T-Shirts Artist-Statements in weißer Schrift ablesen.
Dieses performative, aus Menschen geformte Kunstwerk, bespielt fünf öffentliche Plätze in Wien und begegnet seinem Publikum (Passanten, Touristen, kunstinteressierten Personen) unerwartet inmitten der Stadt. Es entsteht ein neuer immaterieller Kunstraum. Die Friedens-Botschaften verlassen die starre Form eines Ausstellungs-Raumes und positionieren sich direkt an vorderster Front – sie pulsieren am menschlichen Körper der PerformerInnen – der Körper als schwarze Tafel, Projektionsfläche und Schild zugleich.

Die Performance “МИР – МИРУ – FRIEDE” ist eine Weiterführung der PARKFAIR TERMINARTOR Ausstellung, die 2014 in der Ehrenhalle des äußeren Burgtores am Heldenplatz stattgefunden hat.
